ART INSTALLATION
I have assisted with both art archival and installation. After managing the copyright process for thousands of photographs in Paige Powell's photography archive, I had the opportunity to help install part of a photography and video show titled "The Ride" at the Portland Art Museum in November 2015 (photo on the right).
At the opening event I accidentally became part of Kenny Scharf's Cosmic Cavern when he spontaneously painted my dress and those of a few others helping with the setup (photo on the left). Seeing people's reactions to these spaces and having conversations with the artists were experiences that inspired me to make interactive and public art of my own.
